Louisville Blues and Barbeque Festival
Do not sit at home singing the blues this weekend… Instead come listen to some professional crooners singing the blues at the Louisville Blues-n-Barbecue Festival. This annual festival is taking place at the Louisville Water Tower located on 3005 River Road. Friday July 13th kicks off the soothing sounds of some down-home picking. The Festival will be echoing down the river until Sunday July 15th. Till then, you and the family can grab a blanket or some lawn chairs and really hear the blues. There is an entertainment area for kids that do not fully understand the blues, so do not worry about a lack of fun kid activities.
Parking is free, and food is plentiful. This festival is overflowing with soothing songs and appetizing barbecue to tantalize the taste buds. Other tasty treats will be available if barbecue is not your thing. Just because they sing the blues on stage doesn’t mean they want the fans to sing it too.
This year’s lineup is sure to entertain crowds of all ages. The festival features the Predators, The Stella Vees, Davis Coen, The KingBees and The Stray Cat Blues Band, just to name a few. Attendees will hear deep baritone and rich feminine croons accompanied by some of the finest guitar pickin’ ever heard, while feasting on tangy traditional cuisine. You won’t want to miss this weekend’s Louisville Blues-n-Barbecue Festival!
