Kentucky’s famous Shakespeare in the Park is on tour this spring. The company is going to different parks all around Louisville before the summer season of Shakespeare in the Park begins in Old Louisville. Shakespeare in Another Park
This year, the Shakespeare in the Parks Tour will feature Julius Caesar. The play is presented in simple style with limited sets, just as it was done in Shakespeare’s day. This production will be presented by 6 actors, and lasts for 85 minutes.
Pretty Highview Park will serve as the backdrop for this epic Shakespearean play that tells the tale of Rome’s great general. Go to the park at 7201 Outer Loop. Shakespeare in the Park is free for everyone to attend, so bring a blanket and enjoy. The performance begins at 6 pm.
