19th Annual Gardeners’ Fair at Locust Grove May 9th - 11th
Flowers are an ideal Mother’s Day gift and Locust Grove at 561 Blankenbaker Lane in Louisville is having a flower extravaganza all weekend long. The 19th Annual Gardeners’ Fair begins on Friday, May 9th and ends on Sunday, May 11th. The flower fair will be in bloom from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day. Admission is $6 per adult and $3 per child, but one fee pays for all 3 days and parking is free.
Families can surprise Moms with beautiful plants or take Mom to the Gardeners’ Fair and let her pick her own. This event is eagerly anticipated by plant enthusiasts all year long. There will be herbs, annuals, perennials, flowering bushes, flowering trees, practical gardening accessories, tools, lawn art and more. Professional gardeners will be available to provide helpful hints to budding landscapers and there will also be a silent auction featuring antiques, handmade items and art. Concessions will be available throughout the event for those who work up an appetite.
