2013 Forecastle Festival July 12th-14th
The highly-anticipated Forecastle Festival is happening this weekend from Friday, July 12th until Sunday, July 14th. This renowned showcase of music, art and mother earth has become so popular that thousands of visitors come from around the United States just to celebrate on the 85 beautiful acres of Waterfront Park. Pricing varies according to one, two or three day passes and tickets start at $125.
The first Forecastle Festival started back in 2002 and was such a success it was deemed one of the top summer festivals to attend in the United States. AC Entertainment, producers of both Bonnaroo and Moogfest, has partnered up with Forecastle to make sure this sustainable event is a musical success. There are over 75,000 attendees anticipated and they will experience the best of the best in music, bourbon, food, and beer for three days.
This year’s entertainment will be provided by: Robert Plant, Grace Potter, Greensky Bluegrass, The Wild Feathers, A Lion Named Roar, The Avett Brothers, The Black Keys, The Flaming Lips, Alabama Shakes, Old Crow Medicine Show, Salva, Young the Giant, TokiMonsta, Animal Collector, Purity Ring, Churchill, String Cheese Incident and many, many more.
