32nd Annual Light Up Louisville Festival November 23rd
It is time for one of our fair city's most family-friendly traditions as Friday, November 23rd brings the 32nd Annual Light Up Louisville festival, featuring the Winter Wonderland Parade. The streets and trees will be decoratively lit up starting at 4th Street and Main Street, and continuing to Fourth Street Live, from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. Festival goers will experience an amazing display of sound and color as the lights that deck the streets and trees blink in synchronicity to the sounds of seasonal music. Even Santa Claus will be waiting to watch Louisville come aglow!
The Winter Wonderland Parade will begin at 6 p.m. starting at Fourth and Liberty Streets, and proceeding to the festival feature site at Fourth Street Live. The faces of little ones will light up as they watch the festive lights, bands, carolers, cool cars and lively floats pass by at the city's only annual night time parade.
Friends and loved ones gather together for hot cocoa, cool beer, tasty treats and the warm glow of Yuletide lights to catch the spirit of the season. The Annual Light Up Louisville celebration on November 23rd has been kick starting the customary 40 Nights of Lights in Louisville for over three decades. Enjoying the festive glow of our city streets has become a local family tradition for many.
