40 Nights of Lights Free Concert on December 15th
This Saturday, December 15th brings the 2nd free downtown concert during the 40 Nights of Lights concert series. From 5:30 p.m. until after 7:30 p.m., the performance stage near the 50-foot community Christmas tree at 4th and Liberty Streets will be alive with festive holiday spirit and live music.
Visitor to the downtown festivities will enjoy jazz, hip hop, gospel and traditional Christmas music from a variety of cultures during the free community concerts. These concerts are intended to become a yearly tradition the first three Saturdays in December. The purpose is to introduce residents and visitors to the diversity of the downtown area and to celebrate the holidays together as a community.

Those coming to celebrate the holidays with live entertainment downtown will also be awed by the 40 Nights of Lights show that reaches through 4 blocks of the community from the Galt House near Main Street to Muhammad Ali Boulevard.
