65th Annual Louisville Home Garden and Remodeling Show
With over a hundred exhibitors, the Louisville Home, Garden, and Remodeling Show has everything you need for sourcing local materials, local hires, and Do-It-Yourself tips. Now in its 65th year, you'll be seeing some old favorites return on the exhibition floor and on stage, along with new, innovative exhibitors to explore in the latest products and trends for your home. Here’s what you can expect at this year’s Louisville Home, Garden, and Remodeling show.
What's in Store on the Floor
From refurbishing your tub to finding the tools to create that garden you've always wanted, this year’s floor offers a comprehensive list of exhibitors that will cover every need for you home from top to bottom, inside and out. The trick is to come prepared. It's always useful to make a list of the things you need, and a wish list for the things you want. Roaming the floor at a relaxed pace, collecting information, and talking to exhibitors is the best way to compare value, quality, and price points. While there may be a crowd, it's always worth the wait to talk to someone and ask questions.
One of the nicest things about this show is the opportunity to catch the innovative exhibitors. These exhibitors will often offer you new and unique ways of doing things that will ultimately save you money. Be it a new heating and cooling system, staining your roof to prevent wear and tear, or home energy solutions (solar panels are all the rage these days), keep your eyes open for an idea you may have not planned for.
On Stage: Seminars and Speakers
Break up your day on the exhibition floor and have a look at the schedule to see what meets your fancy on the Trend Seminar Stage. An incredible array of chefs, ranging from local cooks to Master Chef finalists, will show off their skills to the audience. There will also be seminars on gardening and landscaping, providing you with a complete package on how to grow and maintain your garden – and then put it on your plate. Beside the stage, you'll find the Belgard Hardscapes Outdoor Living Pavillion, where pavers will exhibit their designs and three landscapers will be competing to win the Belgard Challenge title.
Fun for the Family!
Engaging adults and children, a ten-minute film showcasing a state-of-the-art digital planetarium titled "Live Tour of the Universe" will take the audience out of this world and into the solar system. Reward your children and yourself with a break from all the walking, kick your feet up, and step into an experience you won't forget at the Owsley Brown II Portable Planetarium before or after you find yourself at the Logan Lavelle Disc-Connected K-9's Stage. World famous rescued K-9s of various breeds will dazzle you as they perform intricate Frisbee tricks with their owners.
There is a little something for everyone at this 300,000 square foot exhibition, so remember to wear your walking shoes, bring cash for entry and the food court, and book a day off to make the most of your visit. From February 28 to March 2, come to the Kentucky Expo Center for the 65th annual Home, Garden and Remodeling Show – it’s a show you won’t want to miss.
