American Heritage Craft and Gifts Show October 11
Crafts, gifts, cookies. That’s right - it’s time for the Craft and Gifts Show! The American Heritage Girls Troop KY0317 is sponsoring a day of fun and food on October 11. All the fun begins at 9:30 am. The event is conveniently close to the Oxmoor Mall, in Louisville’s Hurstbourne neighborhood.
Food, Gifts and Fun
The craft and gift show ends at 4 pm, so you’ll have plenty of time to take a look at all the local vendors who will be on site. Many local vendors and restaurants will set up booths to offer handmade crafts and gifts of all types, not to mention snacks and other food items. The proceeds from the booth rentals benefit the American Heritage Girls Troop, so you’ll be doing something kind every time you make a purchase.
The event is right down the street from the Oxmoor Center, one of Louisville’s biggest and most popular shopping spots. You’ll find the craft and gift show at 8307 Nottingham Parkway. This is next to the Hurstbourne Country Club and right across from the beautiful Bellemeade neighborhood.
The Hurstbourne neighborhood is in Louisville’s East End. This community is made up of several Louisville neighborhoods. Bellemeade, right across from the craft and gift show, is known for its shady streets and beautiful homes. It’s right in the heart of Hurstbourne, but this quiet residential area doesn’t feel at all like living in the city. There’s a strong community spirit here. Bellemeade celebrates many community events to bring the neighborhood together.
There are around 865 people living in Bellemeade among 412 households. That’s a lot of beautiful homes that are perfect for families of all sizes. Hurstbourne offers residents a lot in the way of shopping, attractions and community events. You’ll get a chance to visit this part of the city during the Craft and Gifts Show.
