Browse at the Louisville Artisans’ Guild Holiday Showcase November 4
Doesn’t it seem like the people on your holiday gift list are getting harder to shop for all the time? When you can’t find anything in the stores to reduce the size of your gift-buying list, come to the Louisville Artisans’ Guild Holiday Showcase. There will be so many unique items here from so many different types of artists, you should be able to find something for everyone on your list for a change!
The Louisville Artisans’ Guild is setting up their Holiday Showcase to offer hundreds of products of all different types. More than 70 local and regional artists will have their items on display for sale. That includes one-of-a-kind art works like painting, pottery, sculpture, woodworking, jewelry, and well, you name it and you’ll find it here.
Go shopping from 10 am to 5 pm at 1776 Plantside Drive, and go explore the Holiday Showcase. Parking and admission are free, but you’ll want to bring some spending cash with you. There will be so many items here, you won’t be able to resist them all.
Plantside Drive is right down the road from Hurstbourne Acres, the little family neighborhood that's surrounded by some of the best shopping in the city. Whatever you need to shop for, from that must-have holiday item to amazing real estate, this is the perfect place to get started.
Shopping Around Hurstbourne Acres
Hurstbourne Acres is right next to Oxmoor Country Club, beautiful property that's dotted with lakes and natural features. The neighborhood is surrounded by restaurants and shopping. There's more than one big shopping complex next to the neighborhood, not to mention theatres and other places to enjoy family fun.
The winding streets of Hurstbourne Acres will take you past neat, cozy family homes built in classic brick and stone designs. Pretty Cape Cod homes and sprawling ranches are nestled among the tall trees here, many with attached garages and extra living space. The streets here are quiet, and designed to end in cul-de-sacs, so there is little through traffic. There's a lot going on all around Hurstbourne Acres, but inside the neighborhood it's peaceful, pretty and perfect for playing children and pets.
Visit with Hurstbourne Acres while you're out holiday shopping this November, and it just may inspire you to buy a new life here.
