You don’t have to wait for this summer to enjoy Shakespeare in the park. This April, Shakespeare is traveling to parks all over the city of Louisville. Go to Norton Commons, and go see “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is one of Shakespeare’s best-loved comedies, featuring magical forest folk, people falling in love and of course, that trickster Puck. Will Hermia and Helena find happiness? Will the magical people of the forest finally get their troubles straightened out? Even if you’ve seen the story before, you’ve probably never seen it at the gorgeous Norton Commons. Get swept away by the magic of Shakespeare, and spend a day in the park.
The Kentucky Shakespeare Festival is coming to Norton Commons at 10712 Meeting Street, and in the classic Louisville tradition of Shakespeare in the Park it’s free for all to attend. Be there from 6:30 to 8:30, and be ready to laugh at all the antics.
