Celebrate Christmas at Christian Academy of Louisville November 3
It’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit, because it’s never too early to get started on all that holiday shopping. Do both this November, and go to Christmas at CAL. You’ll get the chance to shop, and the kids will have plenty of ways they can have fun, too.
An Early Christmas
Before the holiday season really lands in full force, start taking some of the stress off right now by getting a few early Christmas presents. The Christian Academy of Louisville is hosting their annual Christmas at CAL event that’s fun for people of all ages. While you’re here, you can browse at booths featuring crafts and handmade good from local artists. There will also be a silent auction full of various items.
Meanwhile, the kids can enjoy the pony rides, inflatables and child-friendly activities, stuff to keep them busy so you can keep on looking for that perfect gift. There will be plenty of food trucks on hand, because shopping and playing can wear anyone out. This is a free event that everyone is invited to attend, and this is a great way to start getting into the spirit of the holiday season.
Go to Christmas at CAL from 10 am to 3 pm at Christian Academy, 3110 Rock Creek Drive. That’s right next to the Cherokee Gardens neighborhood. If you’re not feeling very festive, just take a look around at the real estate in this community. Cherokee Gardens has a way of putting everyone in a good mood.
Celebrating Cherokee Gardens
Cherokee Gardens is known for its beautiful real estate. This neighborhood is full of homes designed by notable local architect Stratton Hammon, who created breathtaking, estate-like houses here. The classic designs in Cherokee Gardens are stunning, homes that have tall white columns and soaring chimneys with exquisite brickwork and gorgeous landscaping all around.
Many affluent Louisville residents built homes here in the early half of the 1900s, and to this day the homes here remain well-preserved and updated regularly with modern features and the best of today's creature comforts and home design details. Cherokee Gardens is right next to the exciting Highlands, an area of Louisville full of restaurants, theaters, shopping and independent businesses of all types.
Do some shopping in and around Cherokee Gardens, and who knows? You may end up celebrating Christmas in a home here soon!
