Celebrate Fall at the HoneyDepot October 1 and 2

To celebrate all the best of fall this year, go to a real working bee farm. The HoneyDepot is hosting their fall festival, two days full of fun and pumpkins and of course, chili.

Fall Festival

The HoneyDepot is a real working bee farm. It's not located way out in the country, it's right in Louisville. The farm isn't too far away from some of the city’s big attractions and notable restaurants, places like Valhalla. But it's still full of farm atmosphere and this October, it's going to be full of fall activities.

HoneyDepot Bees

Visit the farmer's market to see some farm-fresh goodies for sale. And if all the fresh air makes you feel hungry, no problem. There will be multiple food trucks creating mouth-watering eats. Of course you can carve pumpkins, because what's a fall festival without pumpkins? And yes, there will be a chili cook-off. After all, chili is one of the best things about fall!

The HoneyDepot is at 14005 Taylorsville Road and tickets cost just $5. The farm is just minutes away from Fisherville, a beautiful neighborhood full of newer homes that are next to Pope Lick Park and just down the road from Beckley Creek Park. Floyds Fork cuts right through the neighborhood. So even without the homes, this part of town is full of amazing views. With the homes, Fisherville becomes a must-visit neighborhood that you may decide you must live in.

Fall for Fisherville

Farms actually did dominate this area once. That's why Fisherville is still full of rolling fields that have now become lovely lawns. Now, this is a modern neighborhood full of contemporary homes built with some of the latest in design trends and techniques. There are many newer homes here, places that you can truly make your own.

These houses are built in multi-bedroom, multi-bath designs so they have plenty of space. There are single-story and two-story designs here, all with pretty landscaping and features of their own. Some are designed to be tall and traditional in brick, while others are homey and charming in warm-toned stone and still more are cozy and quirky in colorful siding. There's a home to suit all styles here. And once you get inside, you'll find big closets, spacious rooms and extra details and features everywhere.

Fall for Fisherville this fall. Because you still have time to make a big move in time for a whole new year to begin!
