High Fashion and Charity
Boutiques all over Louisville will be showing off their 2015 spring lines at the Pearls and Pumps event, giving you a first look at what all the fashionable ladies in Louisville will be wearing this season. Sip cocktails and feast on hor d’oeuvres while you’re there. You can vote on outfits you like, or do a little shopping to choose your new outfit.
Tickets cost $65 per person, or $120 for a pair. The event begins at 11 am and ends at 2 pm, plenty of time for you to see lots of fashion. It’s all taking place at the Olmsted at 3701 Frankfort Avenue. The proceeds go to support the Women’s Cancer Care program at Baptist Health. The event will include the Survivor Runway Walk that celebrates brave women.
You’ll find the Olmstead in St. Matthews, where people go to look for high fashion all the time. There’s tons of great shopping in this area, but there are lots of neighborhoods as well. The Olmstead is just a short distance from Brownsboro Village.
In the Village
The neighborhood itself is mostly homes with beautiful lawns and shady streets, but there are several commercial businesses just outside the neighborhood. Schools and churches are nearby, not to mention the huge shopping hub known as Mall St. Matthews. The Crescent Hill golf course is a stone's throw away.
Brownsboro Village is one of many St. Matthews neighborhoods that's worth seeing. St. Matthews is famous for its family atmosphere, beautiful neighborhoods and community spirit. This part of town truly has everything it needs.
