Celebrate New Year’s Eve in J-Town December 31
Join the J-Town New Year’s Eve celebration this year, and party the night away for a good cause. It’s a fundraising event, which means you don’t have to feel guilty about all the fun you have while you’re enjoying it.
J-Town New Year
Go to the J-Town Community Center at 8600 Ferndale Road this New Year’s Even at 6 pm to join the party. Many residents of J-Town will be in attendance. The proceeds of the event go to support St. Edward School, one of the many educational facilities near J-Town.
The evening is full of different events to keep you occupied and entertained. Eat dinner, enter one of the raffles, and dance the night away. Cocktail attire is requested, and tickets cost $40 per person or $75 per couple. You can reserve a table of 8 if you want to bring your friends. There will be a balloon drop at midnight, and the community-focused event will bring many Louisville residents together to ring in the holiday.
Jeffersontown, or J-Town, is one of the largest suburbs of Louisville. It was first settled in the late 1700s by early pioneers looking for farmland. There are around 27,000 people and more than 10,000 households in J-Town. That’s a lot of families and individuals, and many of them will come together for the New Year’s celebration. J-Town hosts a lot of community events designed to bring neighbors together, not just this one event.
Jeffersontown is a large community with its own workplaces, shopping centers, and schools. In fact, you don’t ever have to leave J-Town if you don’t want to; you’ll pretty much find everything you might need here. You’ll also find a rocking New Year’s Eve party this December when you visit the neighborhood.
