Celebrate the Lunar New Year February 4

This February, the Asia Institute is hosting a Lunar New Year dinner event. This is the Year of the Rabbit and this event will be full of traditional Asian food, music and decor. The Lunar New Year is a huge celebration in Asia. This year, some of that celebration is coming to Kentucky.

This evening is built around a six-course meal inspired by traditional Asian cuisine and prepared by local chefs. Acclaimed chef Peng S. Looi will lead the team to create this amazing meal that will pair food with signature drinks and wine. You’ll also enjoy sake and tea, along with signature cocktails.

There will be a River Lotus Lion Dance, along with other dancing and music from Asian culture. The Lunar New Year dinner will be held at the Mellwood Art Center from 5:30 to 9:30. Dinner costs $288 per person. Wear your cocktail attire and ring in the Lunar New Year in style.
