Cherokee Triangle Concerts in the Park
Those lazy Sunday afternoons in August are all about music at Cherokee Triangle's Concerts in the Park. Every Sunday from August 5th to September 3rd you can enjoy free live music and a relaxing evening of friends, family and fun. If you and the family are in the mood, the tunes began at 7pm and end around 9pm.
This Sunday the Triangle will be tingling to the tunes of Will Cary’s Night Crawler Rock. His live performance is sure to set the mood for the remainder of the evening. Festival goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, bean bags or whatever you find comfy to sit on during the performance.
Food and drink are encouraged, but the promoters ask that attendees not bring alcohol due to the presence of children. This is a family musical event with a light-hearted, relaxing atmosphere and they prefer participants keep all refreshments family friendly too.
The Cherokee Triangle’s concerts in the park have become a popular annual event in the Highlands. The residents of the community can be seen strolling towards the gathering spot on Sunday afternoons with blankets in hand. Others often travel and park along the street or designated spots to listen to the music.
Cherokee Triangle gives us all a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon out and about, while still maintaining a bit of a lazy facade. Grab a blanket and the kids, and tune in to the Triangle on Sunday for an exciting Concert in the Park!
