Coffee Cup Theatre at the Rudyard Kipling
The Coffee Cup Theatre Company is being hosted by one of Louisville's historic landmarks, the Rudyard Kipling at 422 W. Oak Street in Louisville. The theatre will be presenting two of Christopher Durang's renowned plays. Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. from Thursday, January 31st through Saturday, February 2nd. Tickets can be purchased both in advance and day of show (while available) for only $15 per adult and $10 per student or senior citizen.
The first of the two plays, "Sister Mary Ignatius Explains it All for You" revolves around a nun and the wisdom of a student she questions while teaching other students. The second play, "For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls" brings to mind thoughts of billowing, fully hooped skirts, which happen to be combined with a comedic parody of "The Glass Menagerie".
The Rudyard offers adults a one stop shop for fun January 31st through February 2nd. The skilled performers of the Coffee Cup Theatre will provide the entertainment and the Rudyard can take care of all your drinking and dining needs. This historic venue offers a specialized menu with tasty vegan and non-vegan appetizers and entrees, along with some mouth-watering desserts. There is a full bar available with coffee and sodas.
