Drink, Dance and Have Fun at the Louisville Boat Club February 17
Valentine’s Day may be over, but February is still the month of romance. Go to the Heartstrings Valentine Dinner at the Louisville Boat Club, and dance the night away after the food is served. This dance is made for lovers.
Dinner and Dancing
The night starts with a bourbon cocktail at 6:30. A delicious sit-down dinner follows. Lovers Leap will provide the wine to go with dinner. Participate in the raffle to win a prize. After the meal is over, the dancing begins. Let your toes tap until 11 pm, and enjoy an evening of food, drink and dancing sponsored by the Kentuckiana Stroke Association.
It’s happening at the Louisville Boat Club, a gorgeous riverside property you’ll find at 4200 River Road. Tickets cost $85 per person, or $1500 for a table of 10. The boat club is part of the Indian Hills neighborhood. When you get a look at this gorgeous community, you’re going to want to be a part of it, too.
Learn to Love Indian Hills
From the river, the Indian Hills neighborhood stretches out next to the Louisville Country Club. It wraps around Locust Grove, one of the city's beautiful historic home museums. And when you're here, you'll discover the reason why so many people want to live in Indian Hills. This neighborhood looks like nothing else you'll see anywhere in Louisville.
A large portion of the Indian Hills neighborhood was left intentionally undeveloped. Homes here are not crammed in together or built right on top of each other. Natural rock formations, thick patches of trees and rolling hills are all left untouched here to give Indian Hills its distinct look. The natural beauty of this neighborhood is certainly memorable and lovely, but it's the houses here that are truly stunning.
Homes in Indian Hills are designed to look like estates. They're built to be big, with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms for growing families that need plenty of room. Historic and traditional architecture give Indian Hills its classic good looks. You'll have trouble trying to pick just one favorite home here, because so many of them qualify as true dream homes. See Indian Hills this February, and it will make you fall in love with the real estate here, too.
