Drive Through the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular This October

In Louisville, the month of October means it’s time for incredible, jaw-dropping jack o’ lanterns. The Jack O’Lantern Spectacular will last all month long and this year, it’s a little different. For the first time ever, the Spectacular is completely drive-through. That means you don't even have to get out of your car to enjoy these amazing carved gourds.

A Safe Spectacular

You’re encouraged to buy your tickets to the Spectacular online for the sake of safety. Otherwise, you can buy tickets at the gate with a credit or debit card, as this is a fully cashless event. One ticket pays for the whole vehicle. Cars, SUVs and minivans are $35 per vehicle. For passenger vans and limousines, the price is $50 per vehicle.

Jack O’Lantern Spectacular

No matter what kind of car you’re in or how packed with people it might be, this is truly a spectacular event. The Jack O’Lantern Spectacular is held at Iroquois Park. The trees and winding roads through the path are a perfect setting for glowing, gorgeous jack o’lanterns carved in cool, crazy and inspiring designs.

The Jack O’Lantern Spectacular is open every night in October from 7:30 to 11 pm at the park. Head to 4800 New Cut Road and let the signs guide you in the right direction from there. Iroquois Park is one of Louisville's most popular green spaces. It’s well-known as a place for recreation and culture, thanks to the amphitheater. The park is surrounded by neighborhoods and beautiful real estate. While you're here, don't let the opportunity to see Beechmont pass you buy.

What’s Spectacular About Beechmont?

Beechmont is a beautiful historic neighborhood that's perfect for modern life. This neighborhood has a community center, salons, schools, shops, restaurants, parks and all those places you look for in a neighborhood. Speaking of places to live, Beechmont has plenty of those, too.

Historic charm sets Beechmont apart. The bungalow homes here all have their own features and distinct looks. Some of the homes here are painted in eye-catching colors, while others are surrounded by colorful landscaping. Inside, these homes have great historical features like hardwood floors, fireplaces, crown molding and all those little details that set these older homes apart from all the rest.

Beechmont's location sets it apart from the rest. Not only is this neighborhood close to the park, it's also just minutes away from historic Churchill Downs. The fairgrounds and Kentucky Kingdom are a short drive away, too.

Come to this part of Louisville and find out why Beechmont is so spectacular.
