Eat All the Flapjacks You Can For a Cause July 11
Applebee’s is having an All-You-Can-Eat Flapjack Fundraiser, and you’re invited. This is one those rare times when stuffing yourself will actually do some good. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and help others at the same time? It doesn’t get much better than that.
All You Can Eat
Go to Applebee’s on July 11 from 8 to 10 am. For just $7, you’ll have as many flapjacks as you can stand and the beverage of your choice. Pick milk, coffee or a soft drink to wash down those flapjacks. How many of them can you eat? Finding out the answer to that question is all part of the fun.
The proceeds will help to support Athena’s Sisters, a non-profit organization that provides assistance and support to women who served in the military. The Applebee’s is at 2225 Taylorsville Road, and the breakfast is waiting for you.
Seneca Gardens is right next to the Seneca Golf Course and Seneca Park. The classic architecture in this neighborhood gives the whole area a timeless style. The rolling green lawns are a perfect example of why this area was once known as Farmington. By some local legends, one of the buildings in Seneca Gardens was on the Underground Railroad.
The neighborhood is a peaceful, quiet place that's filled with homes. Outside the neighborhood, there are lots of fun attractions. You can find a spa, a farmer's market and a cafe within minutes of Seneca Gardens.
Take a walk around the neighborhood after your big pancake breakfast, and see one of Louisville’s pretty communities while you work off some of those extra calories.
