Eat Hearty at the 5th Annual Gravy Cup February 25

The world's largest biscuits and gravy competition is back for another year, and you know what that means: lots of great eating! Hear music, drink beer and eat up at the 5th Annual Gravy Cup. The proceeds go to a good cause, and the food will be delicious.

The Gravy Cup

The biscuits and gravy competition will be split into three categories: traditional, non-traditional and vegan. That means there will be something for everyone to enjoy. The live music will be swinging. A mix of great Ragtime, Dixieland and swing music will help inspire your appetite.

5th Annual Gravy Cup

The proceeds of this event benefit Boys and Girls Haven, a non-profit organization in Louisville that provides services to children in the community. Have you got a great biscuits and gravy recipe, or are you more of a taste-tester? Get your entry form or your ticket at the official Gravy Cup website.

This event is held at the Mellwood Art Center at 1860 Mellwood Avenue, Suite 181. Just follow the scent of delicious food, and you’re there! Tickets cost $15, and this event lasts from 11 am to 2 pm. The Mellwood Art Center is in the beautiful Clifton Heights neighborhood. Explore this area for yourself, and you’ll be hungry to spend more time in Clifton Heights.

Get a Taste of Clifton Heights

You'll find Clifton Heights between Champions Run Park on the waterfront and Brownsboro Road. Along Mellwood Avenue and Brownsboro, you can find all sorts of stuff to do, from eating in a great restaurant to shopping in a pretty, independent boutique boasting one-of-a-kind fashions. There's all sorts of life and energy just west of Clifton Heights in downtown Louisville, and you can head just south of the neighborhood to explore the fun, funky art scene in Clifton. But here in Clifton Heights, it's mostly residential housing -- and it's going to be super easy for you to see why so many people love living here.

Clifton Heights is full of historic architecture, beautiful bungalows, shotgun houses and ranch homes. There are brand-new lots and newer homes here as well, because Clifton Heights is such an eclectic neighborhood with a little bit of something for everyone. See what it has for you to fall in love with this February, and see Clifton Heights for yourself.
