Enjoy a Day Outdoors at Cave Hill This April

Cave Hill Cemetery is a historic location, an arboretum and a national monument. Dating to the Victorian Era, Cave Hill is the final resting place for some of Louisville’s most famous former residents. Boxing champ Muhammad Ali is here, along with KFC founder Colonel Sanders. The landscaping is incredible here, but the custom monuments and intricate stonework are even more stunning. See it for yourself this April. Because during a virus outbreak, hanging around with a place dedicated to the dead is a really safe bet!

Explore Cave Hill

Cave Hill was designed to evoke a garden-like feel. The design is a success. This is a quiet, beautiful area made up of winding paths, rolling hills, beautiful flowers and big trees. There are incredible monuments and embellishments here, including a Corinthian-style clock tower. It's all surrounded by flowering trees and shrubs, colorful natural wonders everywhere you look.

Cave Hill Cemetery in the Highlands

Cherokee Triangle is right next to Cave Hill. On the other side of the neighborhood is Cherokee Park. The Cherokee Triangle neighborhood is between two gorgeous green spaces and filled with homes so beautiful, you just have to take a moment to stop and appreciate them. Cave Hill is open daily from 8 am to 4:45 pm.

Discover Cherokee Triangle

Bardstown Road borders Cherokee Triangle on one side. This famous street is packed with restaurants, coffee shops, nightspots, shops, theaters and some really cool, unique attractions. The Bardstown Road area is celebrated for its varied culture. Cherokee Triangle is celebrated for its beautiful homes.

Cherokee Triangle is full of late Victorian and early 1900s home designs. The custom homes here each have their own unique charm and appeal and they all have gorgeous luxury features, too. There are plenty of modern touches in the homes here, including recessed lighting. But there are also period embellishments here, too. Cherokee Triangle homes have hardwood floors, fireplaces and other amazing details that harken back to the days when everything was hand-made.

Homes here have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, beautiful designs and all those modern features that everyone wants in a home.
