Experience an Historic Christmas at the Masonic Homes December 12
Go home for the holidays this December. The Masonic Homes of Kentucky, that is. This month, the Masonic Homes is hosting a Christmas event that will take you right back to the 1860s, when this historic Louisville locale was founded.
Home for the Holidays
From 6:30 to 8:30, the Masonic Homes will be transported back to the 1860s. You’ll see carolers in period costume, along with lots of other entertainers. A magician, a juggler and other characters from the 1860s will be on-site as well. You’ll find amazing photo opps everywhere you look.
Take a horse-drawn carriage ride to view all the Christmas decorations before you get a cup of hot cocoa and some cookies to nibble on. You might even see Santa Claus himself while you’re here. Find it all at 3701 Frankfort Avenue, just a couple of blocks outside the beautiful Bellewood neighborhood.
Come Home to Bellewood
Bellewood has a traditional look that charms everyone who sees it. This neighborhood is full of big family homes sitting on large lawns, pretty Colonials nestled among tall trees and surrounded by all the fun of St. Matthews. The large St. Matthews neighborhood is full of places to shop, eat and have a family night out -- such as the bowling alley. But Bellewood is full of family homes and quiet streets, houses with basements and extra living space to give families room to grow.
See Bellewood dressed for the holiday season, and you’ll see lots of reasons why you’ll want to buy real estate here.
