February 64 with Abbey Road on the River February 7th - 9th
Abbey Road on the River presents February 64 celebrating the Beatles and the start of the British Invasion beginning Friday, February 7th through Sunday, February 9th. This fun for all ages event will take place at both the Kentucky Center for the Arts Bombard Theatre located on 501 West Main Street and The Muhammad Ali Center on 144 North 6th Street starting at 1:00 p.m. Single day concert tickets start at $19.64 plus fees and packages are available.
The Saturday and Sunday schedule for the Muhammad Ali Center is as follows:
• 1:00 p.m. The Jukebox and Blue Jay Way
• 2:00 p.m. Blue Jay Way and Traveling Beatleburys
• 3:00 p.m. Johnny Doughnut and the Cryers
• 4:00 p.m. Traveling Beatleburys and Nick Peay Band
The Friday and Saturday schedule for the Muhammad Ali Center is as follows:
• 5:00 p.m. Nick Peay Band, The Rigbys and Johnny Doughnut Experience
• 6:00 p.m. Nervous Melvin and the Mistakes
• 7:00 p.m. Whiplash and the Cryers
• 8:00 p.m. The Jukebox
• 9:00 p.m. The Steve Sizemore Group
Sunday from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. the Bombard Theater will present the reenactment of the 1964 Ed Sullivan Show starring BritBeat. Entertainment will be provided by Fred Whitfield, Darshwood, Southern Sirens, Mario da Silva, Sean Keller, Christie Troxell, Kenn Parks and Emily Bodner.
