Get in Touch with Nature at Creasey Mahan Preserve August 24
Commune with nature this August, and go to the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve for Nature Center Fun. This is a kid-oriented event that lets them get in touch with nature even while indoors, because you can enjoy what’s outside and still beat the terrible summer heat!
The Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve is also an animal clinic. And because it's pet-friendly, you'll often find four-legged friends here. There are three historic buildings here, a natural history museum, more than 9 miles of trails and dozens of native plant species. This preserve is dotted with waterfalls and natural springs, and so beautiful that people come here frequently to hike, camp out and picnic.
Go to the nature preserve from 10 am to 2 pm for day full of fun. The day is designed for kids aged 6 to 12 and preschoolers age 3 to 5, but it will be fun for everyone in the family. Kids will engage in a scavenger hunt, work on crafts and get a close-up look at the demonstration bee hive.
The preserve is at 12501 Harmony Landing Road in Goshen. If you haven’t been to this community outside Louisville, you haven’t been to a great family neighborhood that you need to see.
Grand Living in Goshen
Grand design and luxury carry the day in Goshen, where the homes are big and beautiful and lots are big and green. Traditional architecture and newer homes are everywhere you look in this neighborhood, a community of mostly homes. Life is quiet in Goshen because the community was designed that way, with tree-lined streets and homes built to provide privacy. Goshen is just east of the river and just outside of Louisville, so residents can get to the city and all the attractions they want to find there quickly.
But when you want to escape to quiet luxury and gorgeous homes, go to Goshen. It’s only natural to fall in love with the real estate here.
