Go on a Mega Quest This June

When you're in Louisville in June, going underground isn't weird. It's a smart way to beat the heat. So head to the Mega Cavern and go on your own Mega Quest. Because the best time to have an underground adventure is when it's super hot and sunny up on the ground level.

Mega Adventure

The Mega Cavern is packed with fun stuff to do. This June, test your skills on the challenge course. This is actually the only fully underground aerial ropes challenge course in the entire world. Yes, the whole planet!

Mega Quest Mega Cavern

Everyone who does the course must be able to reach to a height of at least 52 inches with their hand. This is necessary for them to be able to climb the course. All participants on the course must weigh less than 310 pounds. Everyone will be wearing a full-body harness and complete climbing gear. You'll also need closed-toe shoes. No flip-flops are allowed. It's recommended that you wear tennis shoes, T-shirts and jeans.

Walk-ins are welcome here. The course has 76 different elements that will put you to the test and help you have a lot of fun. The Mega Cavern is at 1841 Taylor Avenue. That's right down the road from the Louisville Zoo and the Louisville Nature Center. It's also just a short drive away from Schnitzelburg. This is a great place to go if you're looking for a little adventure.

Have a Schnitzelburg Adventure

Want to get a taste of authentic German food? How about a German beer? You can definitely find it in Schnitzelburg, a neighborhood that has deep German roots. The neighborhood is named for a German food and the neighborhood is the home of the World Dainty Championships. Dainty is a street game and the event helps raise funds for the community. That's the kind of neighborhood Schnitzelburg is. It's full of fun, full of history and community-driven.

That spirit is reflected in the homes here. The houses here are made with classic architecture in charming, inviting designs. Schnitzelburg homes have classic styling on the outside but modern features on the inside. Custom counters, great backsplashes, beautiful floors, you never know what great details you'll find in these homes. Because Schnitzelburg is very much a modern neighborhood, too. See how well Schnitzelburg will suit your life this June.
