Go See a Free Scary Movie July 23
This July, enjoy a Free Movie Night at the Pope Lick Park, just don't expect some sort of cozy event. You'll be watching a truly chilling horror movie in a park with a legendary reputation for being haunted by a frightening creature. If you're due for a good scare, go have a night in the park.
Movie Night
Head to the park to see "The Conjuring" from 8 to 11 pm. This is the movie that launched the Conjuring universe, which includes several films. This movie is about a case investigated by paranormal husband and wife team Ed and Lorraine Warren. To make things even scarier, these characters are based on real people and the Conjuring movies are based on their real cases.
When you watch the movie in the dark park and learn a little bit about the scary legend lurking here, you might start to feel a little bit of terror, yourself. You're in for a night of creepy fun if you like a little thrill of fear every now and then because you'll be at Pope Lick Park. Learn about the legend of this place while you're here. The movie will be shown on a 40-foot screen and you're welcome to bring your own blanket to sit on. There will be concessions if you feel like having a snack.
The park is at 4002 S. Pope Lick Road. That's just outside of Fisherville, a beautiful neighborhood of newer homes. This is a perfect place to relax if you're scared or stressed or anything else. That's what makes Fisherville such a perfect place to live, too.
Make a Move to Fisherville
Settled on the banks of Floyds Fork, Fisherville is a mostly residential neighborhood full of multi-bedroom homes that are built to be spacious. These homes have more than one bathroom, attached garages, big lawns and all those other features you've been looking for in a home. This is a neighborhood full of sidewalks and trees and landscaping. It looks like one of those picture-perfect neighborhoods you see in a movie but it's real life.
The story gets better inside these homes, too. The houses in Fisherville all have their own look and design but they do have something in common: luxury. These homes are built with architectural details inside like recessed lighting and arched doors. They have pretty hardwood flooring, custom cabinets, fireplaces and tons of extra features everywhere you look. There are big closets, gorgeous bathrooms and beautiful design features all throughout. When you see this neighborhood, you might want to make a move to Fisherville.
