Go to the Drop-In Playgroup August 30
It’s good for kids to meet new people and try new things, but it’s also good for parents. Go to the Drop-In Playgroup on August 30, and maybe you and your child can share some fun new experiences together while you work on arts-based activities and meet other parents and their kids.
Drop in Around Iroquois
Go to the Community Center at 4801 Southside Drive from 10 am to 12 noon to play and meet new people. Miss Elena from Nurturing Pathways will lead the group in several artistic activities that help both parents and kids get creative. The program is designed for kids aged 5 and up and their parents.
It’s a drop-in group, and that means you can show up when you like and admission is free. The Community Center on Southside is all about bringing the community together, and you’ll learn more about the communities nearby while you’re here. After you leave the playgroup, stop to take a look at Iroquois Park and the pretty neighborhood right next door: Iroquois.
