Celebrating Louisville’s Local Scene
Head to the amphitheater at Iroquois Park from 4 to 8 pm to enjoy all the offerings of the fair. There will be live music and plenty of food to snack on, not to mention local beer and wine. A dedicated kids’ area will keep the little ones busy. Admission and parking to this event are completely free.
Visiting Iroquois Park is free, too. This is a huge green space that’s full of places to enjoy various activities. Iroquois has a scenic overlook, winding streets, even an area that's made just for dogs to enjoy. There's a golf course and a disc golf course here as well. The amphitheater is at 1080 Amphitheater Road.
As long as you’re shopping around in the park, head to nearby Beechmont. This parkside neighborhood is the perfect place to go shopping around for real estate.
Breeze Around Beechmont
Beechmont is one of Louisville's historic neighborhoods, and you can definitely see the Old-World charm here when you drive around. The homes here are built in classic styles with brick, siding or a combination of the two. The homes in Beechmont have all sorts of great features because of their history. Here, it isn't hard to find a home with a fireplace, hardwood floors and handcrafted details inside.
