Have a Paint Nite at Joy Luck June 26
Grab your friends, or turn off your phone, and head to Paint Nite at the Joy Luck. You’re welcomed to have a cocktail or two while you get creative. This is a great way to get social with friends or relax by yourself, depending on your mood.
Paint the Night Away
A professional artist and party host will serve as your guide for the evening. You won’t need to bring any materials, just your creative spirit. Everything you need will be provided, but you’ll have to pay for your own drinks. Also, all participants must be at least 21 years in age -- for obvious reasons.
Get there by 7 pm to participate, and come early if you’re with a group to make sure you get seats together. All the fun is going down at 9850 Von Allmen Court. Tickets cost $30, and that covers the cost of the project you create and all the supplies you’ll need. Von Allmen Court is right down the road from the Paddock Shops, one of the city's best shopping stops. The Shops are part of Springhurst, which may soon become one of your favorite neighborhoods.
Stop by Springhurst
Shopping is at the center of Springhurst, but so is food. You'll find lots of places to get a bite at the Paddock Shops at the heart of the neighborhood. Whether you're craving seafood, a classic burger or even a juicy steak, you won't have to travel very far. But since you're in the neighborhood, see the rest of Springhurst. You'll see why people who live here never even want to leave.
The tennis club is just a short distance from the Shops at the center of Springhurst, and the movie theater just blocks away. There's even more shopping near this end of the neighborhood, along Westport Road. But in-between the shopping areas is the best part of Springhurst: beautiful family homes.
Springhurst may be known for its shopping, but this is also a pretty neighborhood of winding streets that was designed with residents in mind. This neighborhood has walking paths and lots of public areas for picnics and outdoor gatherings. There's a clubhouse and pool for people who live here to enjoy as well, and they do.
They enjoy the big brick and stone homes scattered throughout Springhurst, too. Mostly residential, this neighborhood is full of large family homes set on sprawling lawns. Traditional good looks rule the architecture here, and the gorgeous homes are going to make you gasp more than once. Stop by Springhurst this summer, and you may start making plans to live here soon.
