Have a Sporty and Social Brunch November 13

Sip mimosas and bloody Marys at the Sports and Social Club this November and enjoy a lazy Sunday morning the right way. Because when it’s brunch, it’s okay to drink cocktails!

Social Brunch

Have a delicious brunch at the laid-back Sports and Social Club. This is a casual, fun place to spend time with a menu full of delicious bar food favorites. There’s a live DJ here for Sunday brunch.

Sports and Social Club Louisville

And because it’s brunch, it lasts until well past noon. Brunch and cocktails are served from 10 am to 2 pm. You can call ahead to reserve a VIP table but otherwise, you can simply show up with an appetite. And if you happen to also have a hangover, a mimosa or bloody Mary might make you feel much better.

Meanwhile, you have all the scenery you could want. The Sports and Social Cub is at 427 S. 4th Street. If you keep going down 4th Street, you won’t have to go too far before you get to Old Louisville.

Feast Your Eyes on Old Louisville

The Old Louisville neighborhood begins just a couple of blocks away from the Sports & Social Club. This is one of the most famous neighborhoods in the city because of its architecture. Once you see the homes here, you might love Old Louisville, too.

Beautiful Victorian architecture, lovely old shade trees and remnants of the past everywhere you look are in Old Louisville. These homes were built to impress back in the day and they're even more amazing in the modern era. Walk past these homes and you'll see the hand-chiseled stone, incredible wrought iron detailing, mosaic tiles, stained glass and the incredible asymmetrical shapes, round towers and pointed rooflines of Victorian-era architecture.

There are homes here in all sizes and most of them date to the late 1800s or the early 1900s. Old Louisville is a unique neighborhood. The architecture here has been preserved but the infrastructure? That's been updated. These homes have modern plumbing and lighting, newer furnace systems and all the stuff you need in a home, along with all that beautiful stuff from the Victorian Era.

See if a visit to Old Louisville begins a new life for you this November.
