On Crescent Hill
The first houses were built in Crescent Hill before the Civil War. There's still a lot of history in the neighborhood, like the gorgeous Peterson-Dumesnil House. But there are plenty of modern attractions in this community, too. There are many independent shops and restaurants, unique stores and cafes that you just won’t find anywhere else. And if people-watching isn’t your thing but you like being outdoors, no problem. The nearby Crescent Hill Golf Course attracts visitors from both inside and outside the community.
This neighborhood is packed with pretty homes in a collection of different architectural styles. You can find homes here from many different decades, put together in a variety of designs. Crescent Hill has plenty of amazing stuff to see and fun things to do. Explore some of them this July during your old-fashioned celebration, and see the mix of old and new that makes Crescent Hill one of Louisville's most interesting neighborhoods.
