Have Dinner and a Movie at Seviche February 9
“Chef,” starring the gorgeous Sofia Vergara and funny Jon Favreau, is playing at Seviche this February 9 beginning at 6:30 pm. Go to the event to enjoy a tasty 5-course meal along with the movie. The decadent menu is designed to suit a movie worthy of the name “Chef.”
While you watch the film, feast on a French-inspired menu of caviar, French onion soup and pasta agilo e olio. For dessert, nibble on the chocolate lava cake. It oozes rich chocolate after you cut into the crispy cocoa-flavored cake.
In the movie, Jon Favreau’s character will connect with his love for Cuban cuisine. For the third course, you’ll enjoy mojo pork Cubano so you can taste some of the exotic flavors from the movie. The menu is made to be a delicious match to the film, because eating should be a feast for the eyes and ears as well as the mouth. Even if you’ve seen the movie before, you probably haven’t tasted it at the same time. This event makes dinner and a movie easier, and more well-matched, than ever.
The gourmet meal and movie costs $65 per person. To participate, go to Seviche at 1538 Bardstown Road. It’s in the heart of the Highlands, an area of the city known for its cuisine, right next to the famous Cherokee Triangle.
In the Triangle
Cherokee Triangle is a well-known historic Louisville neighborhood. It’s famous for its fascinating mixture of architecture, houses that show the changes history of the community. Because Cherokee Triangle is close to Cave Hill and Cherokee Park, two of the city’s most beautiful attractions, it’s a popular place to live.
In other words, it’s a perfect neighborhood to go for a little pre-meal or after-meal walk so your can burn off some of the calories of your decadent dinner.
