Holidays Around the World at the Frazier History Museum
The Frazier History Museum at 829 W. Main Street in Louisville is celebrating the holidays starting on Friday, November 23rd through Wednesday, January 2nd with their newest exhibit Holidays Around the World. The exhibition will be located on the first and second floor of the facility and will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Holidays Around the World will feature the customs of over twenty countries, from decorated Christmas tree displays to visual exhibits of holiday traditions. Visitors can get printed brochures detailing highlights of the exhibit featuring many cultural traditions found throughout Louisville's own diverse community. Some countries do not celebrate Christmas, so their unique holiday traditions will be on display to help educate visitors on the variety the cultural differences. Entertainment will be provided by school choirs on various days during the exhibition.
Admission is as follows:
- Adults 15-59 - $10.50
- Military - $9.50
- Seniors (60+) - $8.50
- College student with valid I.D. - $7.50
- Children (5-14) - $6
- Children (4 & under), Frazier Members and Teachers get in FREE
Holidays Around the World is a stunning exhibition that will be available at Frazier from Black Friday until January 2nd,, 2013 on the first and second floors of the museum. This offers visitors the opportunity to experience holiday festivities through the eyes of cultures around the world.
