Join the Skeleton 5k October 17
Have a day of fun in the park to celebrate the Halloween season at the Skeleton 5k Run/Walk Spooktacular Festival. There will be trick-or-treating for the kids and a 5k for the adults.
The festival begins at 2 pm with the 5k walk or run. That means you can go at whatever pace feels okay to you. At 3:30, the rest of the Spooktacular begins with trick-or-treating for the kids. Children up to the age of 12 can enjoy the trick-or-treating and get some free candy and goodies.
The 5k begins and ends at Wendell Moore Park, truly a beautiful spot. There's a huge lake here, tons of walking trails and lots of stuff to enjoy nearby. Wendell Moore Park is part of the LaGrange community, a huge neighborhood that's packed with small-town charm.
Join Those Who Love LaGrange
LaGrange is historic even when compared to the rest of Louisville. This community dates all the way to 1827. Today, it's a thriving neighborhood that has its own culture and personality. There's a library here, art galleries, restaurants, a local farmer's market and all sorts of amazing places to live.
Brand-new homes are being built right on LaGrange because the demand to live here is so high. This is a quiet community full of modern and traditional homes with lovely front yards, attached garages and all those bells and whistles you look for in a home. The houses have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. They're laid out in pretty subdivisions close to schools and parks and all that good stuff. You won't have to look around here for long to find out why so many people think of LaGrange as the perfect place to live. See if you think so, too!
