Learn How to Love Food and Whiskey at Westport Whiskey and Wine March 14
This March, go to a special event at Westport Whiskey and Wine to learn how to love food and whiskey. The evening will highlight Japanese whiskey that has been specially paired with delicious food. Maybe you’ll end up falling in love with whiskey while you’re here!
Loving Food and Whiskey
The entire evening will be full of fabulous whiskey and food pairings featuring various Japanese whiskies. The food is made to enhance the whiskey. You don’t have to travel to the Far East to enjoy the flavors of this region. All you have to do is go to Westport Whiskey and Wine from 6:30 to 9 pm, and bring your appetite.
Tickets cost $45 per person, and you’ll get to eat and drink all night. Everyone who attends must be 21 years and older, of course. Westport Whiskey and Wine is at 1115 Herr Lane. That’s right next to the Lyndon neighborhood, one of Louisville’s most family-friendly communities. Before your night of eating and drinking begins, come to this area early to take a good look around Lyndon.
Learning to Love Lyndon
Lyndon isn't just a neighborhood, it's an independent city with its own mayor, post office, parks and schools. You'll find shopping and restaurants of all sorts here. Champs Rollerdrome and the Iceland Sports Complex are right outside the neighborhood. This is also an historic part of Louisville, with its own historic attractions and interesting past. Alexander Scott Bullitt, who helped to write Kentucky's very first Constitution, lived here in the late 1800s.
The neighborhood has changed a lot since then. Lyndon today is a modern family community full of pretty homes. You'll find many large two-story family homes and sprawling ranch homes in Lyndon, gorgeous places to live and fall in love with.
Get a taste of Lyndon this March, and discover something new while you’re in the neighborhood.
