See the Trees of Seneca Gardens
The Highlands is full of fun and funky stuff to see, from coffee shops with live poetry readings to independent shops with fashions you've never seen before to the most incredible fusion food Louisville's cutting-edge chefs can offer. But the Highlands is also filled with beautiful neighborhoods, and there's a more traditional side to this part of the city, too. While you're in the area, see Seneca Gardens. It's just a few blocks away from Mama's Hip, and it's a perfect neighborhood for hanging tree beads.
Seneca Gardens is right next to Seneca Park and the Seneca Golf Course, and the homes here have a traditional look that you can't find everywhere in the Highlands. There are many stately brick homes here and two-story houses with plenty of space for growing families. Seneca Gardens is covered with trees, and many of the homes have wide lawns that extend far off the road. This is a quiet parkside neighborhood with beautiful views and lots of quiet spaces. It's easy to forget that all the excitement of the Highlands is just minutes away, with all the shopping and funky culture you want to see.
Take a look around Seneca Gardens this July, and you'll be inspired to start a new life here.
