Let the Kids Go Fishing with the ECHO Program April 18
Take the kids to Sun Valley for the ECHO After School Program. They’ll get to go fishing, and you’ll get to have some free time while they have fun.
Fishing at Sun Valley
The ECHO program is free for kids age 8 to 12. On April 18, the kids will get to go fishing, always a fun springtime activity. Activities begin at 6 pm and end at 7:30 pm. That gives parents plenty of time to run errands, do some shopping or just take a nice, long, quiet coffee break. You’ll have opportunities to do all of that in Valley Station.
The Sun Valley Community Center is at 6505 Bethany Lane, right next to Sun Valley Park. While the kids have fun here, you can go have fun everywhere else in Valley Station.
Take a Bite of Valley Station
There are several places to eat and shop right down the road from Sun Valley. Just head to Dixie Highway, and you’ll find all sorts of reasons to stop and take a look around. Don’t leave Valley Station without leaving Dixie Highway, however. You don’t want to come to Valley Station without seeing the homes here.
Settled on the banks of the Ohio River, Valley Station is well-known for its rich soil and comfortable family homes. You'll find homes in all sizes here, built to suit all families. Brick, stone and siding designs in traditional and contemporary styles are all over Valley Station. This neighborhood was originally built as a haven away from downtown Louisville, loved for its cool river breezes and tall shade trees. Valley Station still looks like a suburban haven to this day. The pretty homes, the wide lawns, the sidewalks and the schools all make Valley Station an ideal family neighborhood, exactly as it was intended to be.
When you see Valley Station this April, you’ll see how easy it is to picture yourself living here.
