Listen to Incredible Big Band Music December 16
Do something a little different this December and spend a night listening to a 17-piece orchestra play. The Don Krekel Orchestra will play a huge selection of songs that will get your toes tapping and your spirits lifted.
Let the Music Play
The orchestra will play a stirring selection of music from the “Great American Songbook,” including tons of classic songs and traditional selections you’ll recognize. You’ll also hear a selection of Big Band Jazz classics that are straight from the 1940s.
Hear all the music at the Caravan at 7:30 pm. That’s at 1250 Bardstown Road. That’s at the Mid-City Mall, where you’ll find the Baxter Avenue Theaters. You’ll be across the street from Cherokee Triangle, one of the city’s loveliest historic neighborhoods.
Hear the Music of Cherokee Triangle
The real estate is the first thing you'll notice about Cherokee Triangle. The homes here look the same as when they were built during the late 1800s and early 1900s, incredible late Victorian and early American designs in lovely two- and three-story styles. The homes are built in brick with plenty of details that include round rooms, tall columns and lots of windows. Each and every home here stands out and each home here has a unique, custom design. The houses in Cherokee Triangle are even more impressive inside with hardwood, fireplaces, chandeliers and custom stonework.
The location is another thing people love about Cherokee Triangle. It sits between Cherokee Park and historic Cave Hill, two of Louisville's most gorgeous green areas. Bardstown Road forms the biggest part of the neighborhood's border. This is where you'll find a smattering of restaurants and shops, not to mention plenty of other places to go and things to see.
See how easy it is to live in Cherokee Triangle this December after you see the truly jaw-dropping real estate here.
