Go see an incredible holiday light display at Toyland this December. No, it’s not a big, paid event. You’ll drive into a pretty neighborhood down a tree-lined street and up to a house that’s completely lit up and totally amazing, all decked out for the holiday season. Because isn’t stuff like this what the holidays are all about?

During the holiday season, this home becomes Toyland, a dazzling light display. You can walk through the display that’s full of nutcrackers, snow globes and Christmas trees. Get a picture with Santa for $5. Proceeds from this and any donations you make all go to the Home of the Innocents, This organization has been part of the Louisville community since 1880, providing services for children and families in need.
The lights are on seven days a week, Sunday through Thursday from 6 pm to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 6 to 11 pm. The house is at 6801 Melon Court. That’s in the Okolona neighborhood, a large community that’s full of dazzling sights.
