Louisville Waterfront Walking Tour April 5th
The Louisville Waterfront Park is not only a great place to throw a festival or relax with the family - it is also a haven for Louisville’s charming history. Celebrate all that is the waterfront on Saturday, April 5th with the Louisville Waterfront Walking Tour. This is a free to attend event, but pre-registration is requested by phone at 502-899-2213 by Friday, April 3rd. The tour will take place starting at 10:30 a.m. and should be over around 12:30 p.m. Patrons can meet at the American Printing House for the Blind at 1839 Frankfort Avenue and limited transportation is available.
Families and friends can enjoy a unique and enlightening experience with the Louisville Waterfront Walking Tour. Guides will lead interested groups on a unique path that will appeal to each and every sense from sight to smell. Visitors will get an in-depth look at the history of the Belle of Louisville Steamboat, the Flock of Finns, the Big 4 Walking Bridge and the Lincoln Memorial.
Those that appreciate Louisville’s colorful history won’t want to miss the Louisville Waterfront Walking Tour this Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m. This free for friends and family event will begin at the American Printing House for the Blind pre-registration is requested by this Friday.
