Olde Tyme Christmas Celebration on Frankfort Avenue on December 8th
Frankfort Avenue is celebrating the holiday season with their 17th Annual Old Tyme Christmas Celebration on Saturday, December 8th from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. This annual event offers entertainment for the entire family throughout the day and into the evening at the Third Lutheran Church at 1864 Frankfort Avenue in Louisville, along with various shops on the Avenue.
Families can enjoy free trolley rides from noon till 5 p.m., and 50 cent horse and carriage rides from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. The Third Lutheran Church will be serving homemade bourbon balls and having a bake sale from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. They will also entertain the crowds with a living nativity scene, a Creche display and a tasty bake sale.
Santa himself will be strolling about chatting with the children and even man's best friend won't be forgotten. Families with pets that wish to participate in the Santa Sprint and Stroll and the festive holiday Dog Walk will meet at the Crescent Hill Library parking lot at 10:30 a.m. The festive walkers will continue until they reach the Comfy Cow and return back to the library to see who wins the most festive dog prize.
The 17th Annual Old Tyme Christmas Celebration on Frankfort Avenue offers plenty of fun on December 8th for the entire family.
