Participate in a Bar Crawl October 29
Put on your costume, dust off your walking shoes and get ready to have fun at a Halloween Bar Crawl on Bardstown Road this October. You'll have access to exclusive drink specials, you'll be part of a costume contest and you'll have some tasty drinks. The kids get to trick or treat on Halloween. This is the adult version of trick-or-treating.
Bar Crawl
Join in on a Halloween Bar Crawl on Bardstown Road, a place where you can find lots of little spots to stop and have a drink. Admission is $11.25 and you'll get access to drink specials, two free drinks or shots, a custom badge that shows you're on a mission, professional photographers, an after party and a costume contest with a $1,000 grand prize. Not a bad way to celebrate Halloween, right? And since the bar crawl isn't on Halloween night, you can still do whatever you need to do for the kids after you have your fun night of tricks and treats.
It all starts at 1047 Bardstown Road at 4 pm. That's in the Highlands area, within walking distance of lovely Tyler Park. This neighborhood is a quiet little area that's full of nature, winding streets and pretty homes. And if you have to crawl home from a night of drinking on Bardstown Road, this is a really nice place to do it.
Run Over to Tyler Park
If you need to walk off a little bit of your bar crawl, walk around a bit in Tyler Park. This neighborhood is definitely worth seeing. The houses here have a distinct Craftsman-inspired and Cape Cod-inspired look to them. They are pretty bungalow-style homes with multiple bedrooms and unique details that make each home here stand out.
Landscaping and color greet you when you walk up to one of these homes. And when you go inside, you'll find breathtaking historic features and renovated interiors that still have stuff like hardwood floors, gorgeous crown molding, wainscoting, fireplaces, built-in shelves, stone counters you could just about drool over and lots of open spaces and beautiful little details. After all, it's the little details that really create luxury and that sense of being comfortable. That sense of being at home.
See if you feel at home in Tyler Park and see what your life might be like if you decide to live here. You won't need a few drinks to see the beauty in this Highlands neighborhood.
