Party at the Bash at the Museum at the Kentucky Derby Museum November 2
Celebrate the Breeders’ Cup this November the best possible way: with the Bash at the Museum. This fun party hosted by the Kentucky Derby Museum includes food, drink, music and of course, lots of horse racing stuff for you to look at.
Bash at the Museum
The Bash at the Museum is a celebration of Kentucky’s past and present in the horse racing industry. Enjoy the live music while you sip signature cocktails and nibble on hors d’oeuvres. You can also bid on racing-related items and memorabilia during the live auction. Proceeds from this event support Thoroughbred Charities of America, an organization that helps former racehorses lead a good life in their retirement.
Tickets cost $110 per person for general admission, or $275 for VIP access. The party starts at 6 pm at Churchill Downs. That’s at 704 Central Avenue, just minutes away from the Parkway Village community. After you see the neat, charming homes in Parkway Village, you’ll see all sorts of reasons to start living near the track.
Partying Around Parkway Village
Parkway Village is somewhat in the middle of everything. It's just a short drive from the track, within walking distance of Schnitzelburg and only blocks away from the pretty UofL campus. The Louisville Zoo and Mega Cavern are just minutes from this neighborhood, so there's never any shortage of things to do or places to go have fun here.
Inside Parkway Village, you'll mostly find pretty ranch and bungalow homes settled on green lawns next to long driveways. Parkway Village is a neighborhood full of porch swings and pretty real estate, a community surrounded by the city's most popular attractions. Once you're surrounded by the homes in Parkway Village, you'll be in a partying mood.
