Pig Out at EGGFest August 5 and 6
It's that time of year again, the Big Green EGGFest is coming to Louisville. Spend two days eating, drinking and watching contests where pro chefs will compete to show off their skills.
Eat at EGGFest
Come to EGGFest to see the Chopped competition, where local professional chefs will get 90 minutes to whip up an appetizer, entree and dessert using a surprise ingredient list. There will also be a people's choice competition. This is the part where you get to taste the food and vote for your favorite.
There will be plenty of beer, of course, along with bottled water and soda. Tickets cost $35 per person. Kids 12 and under attend for free. Day two has even more competitions and lots and lots of food. Come to both days of the event to see some amazing food and have an amazing time.
Be there for both days of the event from 6 pm to 9 pm. It's all at Brownsboro Hardware and Paint, 4858 Brownsboro Road. That's just outside the Indian Hills neighborhood, where you can find some of the pretty natural landscaping in the entire city. Come here and you'll soon find out that the houses are absolutely stunning, too.
Drink In the Sights at Indian Hills
Indian Hills surrounds historic Locust Grove and it's next to the Louisville Country Club. Indian Hills spreads all the way to the river, a beautiful collection of winding streets and nearly uninterrupted nature. The natural landscape is impossible to miss here. Much of Indian Hills was left undeveloped simply so the winding river, the natural rock outcroppings and the trees could continue to thrive. Meanwhile, beautiful homes are tucked into the natural areas to create picture-perfect living.
Every single home here is unique and all the homes here were designed for comfortable luxury living. They are full of custom features designed to match the house, extras like architectural details and custom cabinets. Hardwood floors and stainless steel are expected, of course. You'll also get features like big closets, lots of yard space, pretty landscaping and so much more. To find out what Indian Hills is like, you're going to have to go see Indian Hills. Do it this August and do yourself a favor.
