Play Tennis in Seneca Park June 5

This June, go to Seneca Park for a day of all-ages tennis with the whole family. This free event is designed for people of all skill levels, so you can be a total beginner or as good as Venus Williams to participate in this fun-filled day.

Kentucky Tennis Tour

Tennis takes place in Seneca Park from 5 to 6:30 pm. Show up early to help paint trash cans and beautify the park from 4 to 5, if you like. You’ll get the chance to show off your creativity and help make the park an even prettier place than it already is. Seneca Park is one of the highlights of the Louisville Metro Park system. In addition to the tennis courts, Seneca Park has horseback riding, playground areas for the kids, a mountain bike trail, several ball fields, and an 18-hole professional golf course. Seneca Park has more than 500 acres of gorgeous green land to enjoy, all of it filled with great natural sights.

Seneca Park for All-Ages Tennis

Join in the Kentucky Tennis Tour, and go play the day away at Seneca Park this June. It’s free to attend, and it’s always free to explore the park. Next to the park, you’ll find Seneca Gardens. This neighborhood is so beautiful, you may not realize you’ve actually left the park until you see the beautiful houses nestled among the trees here.

Looking Around Seneca Gardens

Among the tall shade trees of Seneca Gardens, you'll find beautiful homes styled with traditional Colonial designs. This land was once all part of Farmington, one of Louisville's most famous historic properties that was visited by Abraham Lincoln himself. Seneca Gardens is such a beautiful neighborhood, it has its own arborist who sees to the trees.

The homes here are made for luxury and for looks. Many are built with brick and stone, and many were made with basements to offer even more living space. The neighborhood is just blocks away from Bardstown Road and all the excitement of the Highlands, a neighborhood well-known for its shopping, eating and culture. Families here get the best of nature, the best of trendy culture and some of the best schools in the city. In fact, it will be easy to picture your family living here, too.
