Ride a Mountain Bike Starting at Hockensmith Barn September 5
Get out in nature, get some healthy exercise and get on a bike this September for a mountain bike ride. Take a ride through the Parklands starting at Hockensmith Barn to see natural beauty in the last days of summer. This is a beginner-friendly ride, so people of all skill and athletic levels can participate.
Like Riding a Bike
Take a nighttime ride near the winding waters of Floyds Fork, and take the opportunity to get a good look at natural beauty. You’ll also get some pretty good exercise, because riding a bike burns a lot of calories. This is an easy, slow-paced ride that’s good for people of all ages. There will be stops at every single intersection so the group can stay together.
At the end of the ride, everyone will get together in the parking lot to swap stories, drink beverages and do a little socializing. Meet the group at 8701 Stout Road at 6 pm. The group will leave at 6:10 pm sharp, so be ready to ride. Bring your own light and water to stay hydrated during the ride. You’ll be outside of Mount Washington, a historic neighborhood where you may want to build your future.
Riding Through Mount Washington
Mount Washington sprang up because it was the site where two roads crisscrossed. Today, this is a thriving community that's actually a small town. Mount Washington has its own schools, historic attractions, shops and places to eat. It's got everything you would expect in a small town, including a sense of community and beautiful, well-kept real estate.
