Sacred Heart's Ursuline Arts Center Presents 'An Evening with SARGAM' March 30th
Sacred Heart's Ursuline Arts Center has received requests to present the show that sold out three consecutive times last year, and they complied. This Saturday, March 30th families can experience "An Evening with SARGAM" at the Ursuline Arts Center (Bldg. 5) at 3105 Lexington Road in Louisville starting at 3 p.m. Tickets are available for fees of $5, $10 and $15, just to cover presentation fees, but Children under the age of 6 get in free.
Every time SARGAM hits the stage, audiences are wowed by the powerful performances and the colorful costumes. The series of individual performances are designed to fascinate and enthrall the viewers with a mixture of live music, dance and an entertaining chorus of both old and new movie songs. The state of the art sound and light system in the auditorium compliments the performers and the performance, providing an excellent view and sound for all audience members.
The Ursuline Arts Center offers a unique history for the campus. It was initially built in 1924 by the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville and was called Ursula Auditorium. It was used at that time for drama and chorus practice and performances by both the Ursuline College and Sacred Heart Academy. Families are encouraged to come out March 30th to enjoy Sacred Heart’s fourth performance of SARGAM.
