See a Thrilling Play October 6
A young governess in a grand, old-timey estate, hired by the mysterious master of the manse to look after two somewhat odd children. They seem innocent at first, but then, dark secrets begin to come to light. It's the "Turn of the Screw," a thrilling and somewhat scary tale from Henry James. And this October, it's coming to Kentucky Shakespeare.
A Turn for the Thrilling
This tale is a psychological thriller that will keep you guessing through every tense scene. You'll get a little bit of romance, a lot of mystery and plenty of opportunities to come up with your own theories about what's really going on. This play will be performed by the talented actors with Kentucky Shakespeare. They've turned this classic into a two-actor adaptation that will put a bit of a modern twist on this tale.
Tickets cost $20 per person. The doors open at 7:30 pm. Be prepared for thrilling mystery at 616 Myrtle Street. That's just a couple of blocks outside of Limerick, a historic neighborhood near downtown Louisville that's thrilling in its own way.

Irish immigrants built Limerick in the 1800s, bringing with them architecture with a European flair and a fun history of going all-out to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Today, many of the historic shotgun houses and townhomes built during those Victorian days still remain. These lovely old homes have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and lots of great historic details inside and out.
