Shop at the Spring Show at the KY State Fair and Expo Center April 12
Spend a day shopping at the KY State Fair and Expo Center this April to find handmade crafts and goods of all types. It's not too early to get ahead of Mother's Day, Father's Day and even Christmas shopping. Or, you can just buy for yourself. No matter what you're looking for, you'll probably find it here.
Spring Show
More than 20 different booths will be set up at the KY State Fair and Expo Center, so there will be plenty of stuff to browse. It’s free to come and shop or just to look around. So even if you don't get started on buying for Christmas, you can start getting some pretty good ideas while you look around here.
Head to South Wing B of the Expo Center to start shopping. The doors to the sale open at 3 pm. The Expo Center is always at the center of a lot of activity, and you'll find it near the center of the Louisville metro area. Many of Louisville's biggest attractions are close by, including the Zoo and the Mega Cavern. The Expo Center is also near Camp Taylor, a neighborhood that's surrounded by some of Nature's most incredible wonders.
Can't Get Enough of Camp Taylor?
Camp Taylor is next to the Audubon Country Club, just minutes away from the Mega Cavern and close to the Louisville Nature Center and Louisville Zoo. There's pretty much no kind of outdoor attraction you can't get to easily from Camp Taylor, but this neighborhood has plenty of history to offer as well. Taylor Memorial Park is here. This is a tribute to President Zachary Taylor, the 12th man to serve in the office. He lived in Kentucky as a boy, and today the Camp Taylor neighborhood honors his memory.
This is actually a petty great neighborhood for making memories. The cozy homes here are made with multiple bedrooms in great early 20th century designs that give Camp Taylor a timeless, classic look. Camp Taylor is surrounded by places to shop, eat and have fun. Because the neighborhood is near the center of Louisville, it's easy to get to any attraction from Camp Taylor in a relatively short amount of time.
You’ll probably fall in love with this neighborhood in a relatively short amount of time, too. Visit this April, and soon you may want to get a whole lot more of Camp Taylor.
